sustainability / CSR
This project stems from Muñecas Antonio Juan's commitment to the planet, to climate change and to the health of children.
Through the implementation of sustainable production policies, we manage to responsibly and efficiently manage all resources with the aim of bringing to market healthy and safe dolls for children, produced with the least environmental impact.
We have implemented a series of actions aimed at reducing environmental pollution throughout our production chain, providing specific and immediate solutions that contribute to curbing the greenhouse effect.
These measures have involved the redesign of current production models, with the aim of reducing the generation of waste. Based on four pillars: reduce, reuse, recycle and recover.
We have applied sustainable circular economy policies in our production, in order to be able to correctly manage the waste generated through the responsible and efficient use of all resources.
To this end, specific devices have been installed in the different production sectors to ensure that discarded materials are reused, repaired or recycled.
Following the rule of the 3 R: (reusable, reconverted and recycled), which means even a 10% more than what the certifying company requires. Annually, the waste managed by Muñecas Antonio Juan are:

Muñecas Antonio Juan was the first firm in the sector to obtain Zero Waste certification, which recognises the company's good practices in the pursuit of zero waste.
As a doll manufacturer, we are committed to healthy and safe play for children. Under this philosophy we have incorporated organic fabrics in the manufacture of our dolls' clothes, being the first company in the sector to join the ecological fabrics.
Since 2018 we have been designing a whole collection of clothing and accessories based on the principles of respect for the environment and the health of children.
With the use of organic cotton we guarantee the use of natural pesticides and we also ensure that no chemical treatments are used in its transformation, obtaining a healthier fabric, which is undoubtedly the safest option when dealing with a product aimed at children.
Recognized and certified by:
Under the Organic Cotton brand, we certify that our dolls' clothes have been made with organic cotton, from organic crops, free of pesticides, hand-picked and processed without chemical treatments.
The doll has been a toy traditionally associated with girls, with a direct link to the role of mother and caregiver with which women have been identified until very recently.
Society is changing and it is time to end these sexist stereotypes in the game.
Playing with dolls brings many benefits, encourages creativity and helps children to channel and express emotions.
Our dolls bring values that will serve them throughout their lives, such as solidarity, affection, equality, greater tolerance and empathy.
At Muñecas Antonio Juan we are committed to an education without stereotypes and to the equal play of boys and girls.
At Muñecas Antonio we made a commitment to the territory, to generate wealth in our area and not to relocate production to distant countries with less favourable working conditions. Since our origins, we have maintained all our production activity in the municipality of Onil, cradle of the doll industry since the nineteenth century, and from which our company was born.
For more than 60 years, we have been supporting the local development of families and small businesses in the municipality and the region. As members of the Circle of Manufacturers of Dolls of Onil, all our dolls have the added value that gives them the Origin stamp, synonymous with quality, exclusivity and authenticity that characterize the dolls created 100% in Onil.
Authentic handcrafted pieces born from expert hands that have wanted to preserve the know-how and tradition of generations of master toy makers, managing to preserve the development and success of the sector in the area.
